Integrated Children and Women Community Development Project

In the year 2022 GAAP organization signed an agreement with CUP organization under KNH (Germany) funded project to arrange and conduct Non-Residential Enterprise Development and Vocational Skill Trainings for 335 no of male and female beneficiaries in District Battagram,KPK.

With objectives to increase access of youth male and rural women to support marginalized young men and women aged between 18-40 years to secure meaningful, well-paid employment opportunities through improvising access to such platforms which provide these unskilled or semi-skilled young male & female opportunity to equip themselves with employable skills in their desire and market need based vocational trades.

“Integrated Children and Women Centered Development Project” being implemented by CUP organization with the financial support of KNH (Germany) in 03 targeted UCs namely Ajmera, Kuza Banda and Paimal Sharif of District Battagram, KPK.  GAAP organization which is well and widely known national level organization under its training unit was partner organization with KNH and CUP to arrange and conduct these non-residential vocational and Enterprise Development trainings for 76 Male (20 days training duration) and for 129 Female (40 days’ duration) in targeted UCs.

GAAP training unit also arranged 06 days’ backyard poultry farming training for 130 female beneficiaries in targeted UCs. Assignment was initiated with the desk review of GAAP training unit management with continuous meetings with CUP organization head office and field staff meetings regarding curriculum development for 20 and 40 days vocational training in following pre-defined training trades;

  1. Electrician Trade
  2. Plumbing Trade
  3. Carpentry Trade
  4. Mobile Repairing Trade
  5. Tailoring Trade for female beneficiaries

Non Residential Vocational & enterprise Development Trainings were key component and part of ongoing ICWCP project in District Battagram, through which GAAP organization arranged and conducted 40 days vocational/skill trainings for 259 (76 male and 129 female trainees)

GAAP organization with pool of professional trainers and management under its training unit successfully completed Vocational/Skills Training Program meeting the pre-defined objectives. GAAP organization also paid Travelling Allowance (TA) to enrolled 259 beneficiaries as per agreement with CUP organization. GAAP organization also arranged coordination meetings between trainees and relevant stakeholders, institutes and market stakeholders to ensure job placement and internship program for successful trainees
